Reading Football Club are a long established football club in the English Football League.
As a sports team, very active on social media, they are always looking for new and innovative content to showcase to their fanbase.
They approached me, initially to produce some aerial imagery and video of their stadium itself, but, having seen the results, later asked me to return for additional footage of both their training ground and then back to the stadium on a match day.
The latter was no easy task, as drones can stop football matches. There have been a number of high profile cases where players were taken off the pitch midgame, due to irresponsible, illegal flights from drone pilots, flying overhead.
Shooting with a zoom lens, from distance, some great results were achieved for the club, which then received great response from their supporters.
